국제협력 선도대학사업단은 2020년 4월부터 “탄자니아 아루샤 공과대학(ATC)의 신재생 에너지 활용 교육역량 강화사업”이라는 사업 명 아래 탄자니아의 에너지 관련 메카트로닉스 및 재료공학 분야의 대학교육의 역량을 강화시켜 이를 통해 우수한 인력을 양성하는 것을 목표로 하는 교육부 주관 사업을 진행하고 있다. 학사과정 신설 및 교육 인력 파견과 같은 교육활동과 더불어 연합 봉사단 파견, 신재생에너지 발전소 설치 등의 지역사회 공헌 활동을 통해 탄자니아 내에 신재생 에너지 관리 기반을 구축하고 산업발전에 직접적인 도움을 줌으로써 탄자니아 공학교육 및 현지 지역사회 발전에 기여하고자 한다.

“Innovative Energy Education Program (IEEP) of ATC in Tanzania” aims to make the high quality manpower by enhancing the capacity of university education in the energy related mechatronics and material engineering fields in Tanzania. Through these activities as below, we, IEEP committee, aim to contribute to the development of engineering education and local communities of Tanzania.

(1) Establishment of bachelor’s program in Mechatronics & Materials engineering.

(2) Supply of high quality manpower as an instructor to ATC and other universities in Tanzania.

(3) Expansion of student dispatch program

(4) Implementation of new development cooperation program.
